[ Hydrostatic springs ]

Hydrostatic springs are used for balancing rollers in mill train change stands and as tensioning devices and force limiters in chains, crawler vehicles, etc. They work according to the same principle as shock absorbers do and meet optimum requirements in terms of design, manufacture and testing as well. They are characterized by their compact design and easy mounting and are practically maintenance-free. No additional features are required both for the energy absorption and the piston reset.
